Take a long hard look. Now, hand on heart, say you don't love this magnificently minimal café racer from Australia's Deus Ex Machina. Donor 2014 BMW R nineT is barely visible. Keen eyes might note familiar boxer flat-twin, itself cloaked by bespoke valve covers. Fresh tank comes from a 1980s Suzuki GS1100, minimal rear subframe supports custom seat, Wünderlich bracket carries numberplate and tiny LED indicators. This bike is hardly there.
Behind the handlebars, pursuit of less means switchgear, from Grip Ace, is hidden. Tiny Motogadget speedo is mounted on Ricci Engineering top clamp. Wheels, though, go bigger - from 17" to 18" - and fresh Beringer brakes are reassuringly maximal too. Signature twin exhausts are bespoke and, together with DNA stage three filter, help standard 109 bhp twin breathe better. Stealth finish in Nardo Grey completes this form-follows-function café racer. Perfect to transport your Saturday espresso.
